1. Its immature and silly- Why can't both sides accept that both bands produce great music (just aimed at different audiences)?
For example, Max George of The Wanted was recently snapped giving a picture of One Direction the
finger. Also, Zayn Malik of One Direction, in a Twitter fight with Max George last December,
referred to George as "Chlamydia Boy".
2. It sets a bad example for the fans. A lot of what has gone on can be classified as bullying. And
given the issue of bullying that is going on in the Western countries (Canada, United States, U.K.
etc.) right now, boy bands should not be engaging in such catty feuds.
3. It is bad for the music industry. Music is supposed to be something that unites rather than divides.
4. Is it even real? Something tells me that some of this is PR-related. Because let's face it, The
Wanted is not even close to being as popular as 1D, and a lot of the time they are in the news for
fighting with One Direction.
