The Wanted's Jay McGuiness is named sexiest vegetarian by PETA2
According to Sugarscape, PETA2, PETA's (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) US youth division, has named Jay McGuiness of The Wanted the sexiest male vegetarian. He beat out comedian/actor Russell Brand and singer/actor Jared Leto for the honour.
Sugarscape also says that in an interview with Peta, Jay's mom said "We're all very sporty in this family. We all like football (soccer) but Jay never took to it. When they were in the garden, they'd all be playing football and he'd be talking to the daisies and the ladybirds...he loved animals."

Max George defends Justin Bieber
According to J-14, The Wanted's Max George told TMZ "I've met Justin and he's a lovely lad and people make the wrong opinions of him." Bandmate Nathan Sykes also likes Justin, saying "The One thing that's great about Justin Bieber is he's really focused. No matter the amount that has happened in his life he knows where he wants to be and I respect that.

Max George helps little girl that the National Health Service will not help
Max George retweeted a tweet from the account @HelpFundSkye. Skye is a young girl with Cerebral Palsy who needs a life-changing operation that Britain's National Health Service will not fund. Skye needs 50,000 people to help. Specifically, she needs 50,000 people to donate 1 pound ao that she can get the operation. Max George retweeted a tweet that had all of the information above in it.

Today, Nathan Sykes tweeted fans who missed the band's show due to a car accident. Sykes tweeted "Big Shoutout to @MiaaHeartsTW and @_HeyItsJem_ who unfortunately missed last nights gig due to a car accident!(Sad face) hope you are both ok xx"

The Wanted Life- Episode 7
The Episode begins with Max, Jay, Tom, and Siva all still in the Bahamas, and Nathan packing up his bag to head back to the United States to get emergency throat surgery. Nathan gets back to the United States and has a meeting with the band's manager, Scooter Braun. Scooter and Nathan have a discussion about Nathan's surgery and future with the band. Scooter decides it's a good idea for Nathan's mom to be there for the surgery and decides to fly her to the U.S.
Nathan admits that he feels a lot better knowing that his mom is going to be there. The guys decide to cut their trip short and give Nathan a surprise visit. Nathan's surgery goes well and the guys go into the post-operation room and give him hugs and kisses.
The moment makes Jay think about the rest of their careers and he says "Fame comes really quickly and it can go just as fast."
The Wanted perform their first gig without Nathan and it feels empty without him there. Max sings Nathan's part and does a good job, but not as good as Nathan.
After finding out about Max getting the movie role he tried out for, Tom and Jay have drinks and discuss the future of the band. Jay says "If the band split up, I have no idea what I'd do."
The Wanted head to Scooter Braun's office and we get to listen to their brand-new-single We Own The Night.
After hearing the song, the guys all head back to the United Kingdom. A couple months go by and The Wanted are set to perform for 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium. The Wanted are expecting this show to be massive. Scooter surprises The Wanted with Nathan's return and they welcomed him back with a tickle fight.
We discover that Nathan's recovery is going really well and the decision needs to be made if he's going to perform at Wembley Stadium. Nathan says he's ready. It's the day of the performance and The Wanted are backstage getting ready for the show. Some other huge names are there and the guys even goof around with PSY.
The big moment. The Wanted hit the stage and perform their hit "I Found You."As a complete surprise, Nathan appears from beneath the stage. The crowd goes wild, and Nathan absolutely kills his performance.
The crowd is crying and Nathan is crying. The guys have a great show and they close it with a bow.
The guys all meet up for an after-show party. They chat about their performance, joke around, and welcome Nathan back. With some final toasts and words, the show concludes. Sadly, this was the season finale.

Max George is going to be a Salmon Farmer
According to sugarscape, Max George has decided to buy fishing lakes. George says "I have got my own fishing lakes, which people can come and fish at. I am at the start of the process. What J.B. did was smart." George is referring to J.B. Gill, a member of the British boy band JLS (a band that is splitting up this year), who owns a farm in Kent, England and is buying a deer farm in Scotland.
Max's Bandmate Jay McGuinness called it "the best new job I've heard for anyone popstar ever"
Saying, " I should invest in his farm because he has got a real business plan."
Max admitted to liking J.B. Gill's thinking because he is thinking "'I am good now so I am going to do what I really want to do. "

The Wanted Life Episode 6
In this episode, The Wanted head to the Carribean.
The episode begins with Max George walking into the kitchen to tell the boys that Scooter Braun (their manager) has booked them to play in the Bahamas. The trip also happens to be on Nathan's birthday, so they use it to celebrate.
To get ready for the trip, Jay and Kevin (the group's bodyguard) get spray tans so that they won't be so pale when they go down to the carribean. However, Jay does not suspect that he is about to get a lot more tan that what he wants.
Kevin tells the spray tan technicians to spray Jay extra dark and make him very orange. Max, Nathan, Siva, and Tom all think it's a hilarious idea. Kelsey and Nareesha laugh about it.
Jay begins to notice that he is looking too tan and everyone laughs at him. Siva says he's as dark as him and Nareesha jokes that he's darker than her. To get the spray tan off, Jay decides to roll around in the grass.
The guys head to the Bahamas, and man is it beautiful!
Before they can enjoy themselves, they need to prepare for their show and get to soundcheck. Nathan's voice is really bad and he will not be able to sing live during the show. Nathan gets really emotional about this.
The guys notice that Nathan is feeling a bit down on his birthday, so they decide to surprise him. They give him a boob cake for his birthday. Nathan also gets to kiss a girl on the cheek. Later, The Wanted gets to swim with and pet dolphins. Tom makes a rather... raunchy observation about them, saying "They feel so soft, but rubbery, like a condom."
Next, the guys perform a show at the Atlantis in The Bahamas! The show goes really well. Nathan had to lip-sync for the entire show, and he knows his voice is going to get worse if he doesn't do something.
Nano(their day-to-day manager), Kevin and Nathan call his doctor, who tells them that Nathan must get emergency throat surgery. Nathan calls this "the worst thing" that he "could possibly hear."
His personal health and future career is all on the line. It's all weighing on whether or not he decides to have surgery.
There is some more happy news on the episode though. Max has learned that he's gotten the part in the movie that he auditioned for. With everything that is going on with Nathan though, Max decides to wait to tell the guys.
Nathan tells the guys that he has to cut short the trip and go back to the U.S. for throat surgery. The band is devastated and know that they will not have him around for a bit. Max George admits that he does not want to think about Nathan not being in the band.
The other guys give Nathan words of encouragement and they all hope that this will make Nathan better, and they manage to make Nathan smile a bit. At the end of the episode, the boys come together for a group hug.

The Wanted Life- Episode 5
Hey Guys, sorry this is late.
At the beginning of last night's episode of The Wanted Life, we find out at a video shoot that Siva is not a great dancer and Jay teases him for it. The guys go back to their house and their bodyguard, Big Kev, notices that their are paparazzi standing around the house. Kev tells Tom's girlfriend Kelsey to stay away from the paparazzi because of her cellulite, and Kelsey's feelings are really hurt, partly because she has been targeted by the press because of her cellulite before, so much so that she begins to cry.
Also, the partying gets pretty wild. Bunches of people begin showing up at The Wanted's house, some diving into the pool, slamming on the piano, people are drinking, and girls are screaming. It's become a very loud party.
Siva's girlfriend, Nareesha, is trying to concentrate on her work, but cannot because of the noise.
Tom, Nareesha, Jay and Siva confront Max about his partying. Max says if Nareesha cannot handle the partying, then she should move out. Siva gets very angry, and Nathan defends Max. Max has another, crazier party the same night with even more girls. One of the girls gets away from the pack and ends up in Siva and Nareesha's room. The party ends and they all confront Max the next morning. They manage to convince Max that the partying is getting out of control and that strangers should not be walking around their house. Max apologizes and they all kiss and make up.
Next, The Wanted shoot the video for "Walks Like Rhianna". After the shoot, Siva and Nareesha enjoy a romantic dinner to celebrate their fifth anniversary. Jay is the waiter and Max cooks for them. The dinner goes off without a hitch.
So it was a crazy, jam-packed episode. Who knows what will happen next.

Why The Wanted should appear on The Vampire Diaries
I am a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries and The Wanted (Obviously), and I think The Wanted should appear on an episode. Here's why:
1. Having them appear on an episode would drive the number of viewers that The Vampire Diaries gets up.
2. They are not huge stars so it would not be impossible for them to be booked.
3. The Wanted have an edgy, mature sound that would go really well with the show.
4. At least one member of The Wanted has previous acting experience. Max George has auditioned for movies in the past.
5. Let's face it, having The Wanted as vampires would be cool.
6. Some of their lyrics sound vampire-y. Take this song, for example:

In this episode of The Wanted Life, The Wanted perform at the White House for the Obamas at the traditional Easter Egg Roll. Also, Max auditions for a movie, an audition which he thought went well.

The Wanted's Max George almost drowned in a hot tub
According to Entertainmentwise, The Wanted's Max George has revealed a horrifying ordeal which almost left him dead when, while drunk, he almost drowned in a jacuzzi.
George says that he completely passed out, slipping into an alcohol-fuelled coma while filming The Wanted Life in the U.S.
Fortunately for Max, one of the cameramen was there to help Nathan Sykes drag the trashed George out of the hot tub before he died. "I went under water in the middle of the night in the hot tub and didn't know. I owe a massive thank you to our night cameraman- He actually saved my life."
"Nathan did a bit as well. He just wasn't strong enough to pick me up. But he did help me drag my naked, wrinkled body out. It wasn't that we weren't aware that we were being filmed, we were so intoxicated we didn't care."
I hope Max realizes how lucky to be alive he is and doesn't get drunk in water again.

The Wanted have confirmed today that their new album will be released in September! I don't have any info on the name or the specific release date yet, though.

The boys of The Wanted think that One Direction have 'no chance' against them in a sing-off. Tom Parker said "Ah cool, that'd be interesting." The Wanted Life- Episode 2
Max George's brother Jack comes to town. Max and his brother dive off the balcony into the pool. The Wanted set up a chair so that Jay falls into it when he sits down. The boys organize a trip to Vegas, but there's no girlfriends allowed, and Siva does not want to go to Las Vegas without his girlfriend, Nareesha. Kelsey and Nareesha are unhappy about the idea of the boys going to Vegas alone.
Nathan's doctor finds a nodule on a hemorraged vocal chord, and orders Nathan into complete silence. This puts Nathan's career in danger. But the band can not seem to take even that seriously.
Max's brother convinces him to audition for a movie. Tom chucks Nathan's board into the pool. Scooter pushes Siva to go to Vegas, and Siva decides to go to Vegas. Partway through the episode, Jack (Max's brother), leaves.
The boys head to Vegas for a boys' trip. The boys are partying with girls, and Siva sits off on his own, on the phone with Nareesha. They perform a gig in Vegas. Siva runs out the door after the gig and Tom takes it personally.

Ladbrokes, a British-based gaming company, thinks that Zayn would be the most likely to fight out of all the One Direction band members, but that Max would come out on top with 1/2 odds.
Ladbrokes also pairs Siva with Louis and Jay with Harry. The Wanted are favourites to win all their fights. Ladbrokes is betting that the only One Direction member to come out on top would be Liam, with a 4/7 odds against Nathan.

One Direction says they are "Too busy to fight The Wanted"
According to Sugarscape, Max George from The Wanted has suggested that his band and One Direction settle their rivalry with a charity boxing match. But the One Direction members say they are too busy for such a match.
Zayn Malik told the U.K. newspaper The Metro "I already offered Max. I asked him if he wants to fight and he didn't want to." Louis Tomlinson added "It is such Bullsh-t because they will not live up to their word. I love an argument but it's even got boring for me now. I mean...grow up."
Liam Payne from One Direction went on to say "We're all too busy anyway. When is this ever going to happen? We'd do it on a day off and that would be boring."
Zayn went on to say "We met them on The X Factor and they were proper nice and we thought 'we really like you'."
"We looked up to them", Louis Tomlinson added.
Liam suggested that the groups do a singing battle. He said "Let's do one and call it The Homeboys Part II. But then Louis Tomlinson added "I don't think our musical styles would be suited. Our sound is quite different."

Why the fight between The Wanted and One Direction needs to end
1. Its immature and silly- Why can't both sides accept that both bands produce great music (just aimed at different audiences)?
For example, Max George of The Wanted was recently snapped giving a picture of One Direction the
finger. Also, Zayn Malik of One Direction, in a Twitter fight with Max George last December,
referred to George as "Chlamydia Boy".
2. It sets a bad example for the fans. A lot of what has gone on can be classified as bullying. And
given the issue of bullying that is going on in the Western countries (Canada, United States, U.K.
etc.) right now, boy bands should not be engaging in such catty feuds.
3. It is bad for the music industry. Music is supposed to be something that unites rather than divides.
4. Is it even real? Something tells me that some of this is PR-related. Because let's face it, The
Wanted is not even close to being as popular as 1D, and a lot of the time they are in the news for
fighting with One Direction.

According to the fashion magazine Vogue, The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran has signed with Next Model Management. Siva has modelled before, and he was originally scouted to be in the boy band through modelling campaigns that occurred throughout his teenage years. Siva's latest venture will be shown on The Wanted Life. Other Next Talent includes singers Rita Ora and Lana Del Rey and Suki Waterhouse.
A Next spokesperson told Vogue "Next Model Management is delighted to announce the signing of Siva". The spokesperson then went on to say "Undeniably gorgeous and with a genuine love for fashion which stems from his time as a model, we are excited to be developing his fashion career alongside his hugely successful career as part of the band The Wanted and look forward to seeing it all unfold on his new TV show, The Wanted Life."

The Wanted Life- Series Premiere
In this episode, The Wanted and their girlfriends move in to their house in Los Angeles. They have parties at their house. A major turning point occurs when Scooter Braun (their manager) scolds the boys for their partying. The Wanted then play their first big show in a while at the Palladium in Los Angeles. Nathan begins to lose his voice.
Also, some troubles begin because Siva spends a lot of time with his girlfriend Nareesha, and the boys feel that she causes problems.

The Wanted on Katie
The Wanted appeared on Katie Couric's talk show, Katie, today. Max, Tom, Jay, and Siva appeared
on the show. Nathan was still at home recovering from an operation on his throat. They also played

Song of the day- Warzone-
This song, off The Wanted`s first album, is about a cheating ex-girlfriend, so it is much more serious than some of their other songs. I like the beat of the song and the feel it has. It is one of those songs that would be great for the Hockey Night in Canada intro song, so much so that I have actually considered contacting the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), which is responsible for broadcasting Hockey Night in Canada, and asking them to use it.
For those of you who don't know, Hockey Night in Canada is Canada's premier Ice Hockey television program. From October through the beginning of April it broadcasts on Saturday nights, and then April through June (playoff time) it broadcasts every night that there is a game on. Before games, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is known to play intense songs (along with video of the players and teams) to get fans excited for the game.
